| It’s always a pleasure to help promote one of our own in their artistic endeavors, and this week PW’s own artistic wunderkind Isaiah Hinnerichs is launching a joint exhibition of works with his father David Hinnerichs Sr. at the Winestyles gallery in South Pasadena. Isaiah, a former editor with the Pasadena Youth Center’s Volume magazine, has been a freelance photographer and artist for PW over the past few years, a fact that’s all the more impressive since he’s only 21 and has been visually impaired since birth. Both father and son will present works in a variety of media, from oil on canvas or recycled woods to acrylic and even steel, creating contemporary abstract landscapes and classical figurative still lifes. |
